Join us for Adventures in Art’s iconic trip to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. Founded by arts patron Alice Walton and the Walton Family Foundation, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art houses one of the most lauded collections in the nation. World-renowned architect Moshe Safdie designed the building and recently expanded it to include 114,000 square feet of new galleries, studios, and spaces filled with extraordinary art and fresh storytelling. These include a new contemporary gallery featuring Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room, a second, expanded temporary exhibition gallery, an elevated café, and more outdoor art, including James Turrell’s Skyspace.

You’ll experience Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson House, a Usonian gem, lovingly moved to the Crystal Bridges campus; The Mildred Cooper Chapel, designed by a protégé of Wright’s, filled with light and splendor and a piano concert just for us; and a golf cart tour around the heart of Bentonville and a stop at the first Walmart in the country. A new highlight is a visit to the newly opened Heartland Whole Health Institute on the Crystal Bridges campus, designed by local architect Marlon Blackwell. The building brings art, nature, and wellness together under one sweeping roof.

We’ll stay in the art-filled and highly curated 21C Hotel in the heart of Bentonville and enjoy the cuisine that has made the town a food-lover’s paradise.

“You arrange a great travel experience. You did a masterful job of ensuring that we were able to experience the best of the best and it felt very special.” — Adventures in Art traveler
