Join us on an American art & architecture focused adventure in the country’s Heartland. Our adventure takes us to Bentonville, Arkansas to experience the world class Crystal Bridges Museum of Art with guided tours throughout the museum and its extensive grounds full of outdoor art. Designed by Moshe Safdie and founded by Alice Walton, the museum was designed to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of nature.
Architectural highlights of the trip include a private tour of a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian home and a visit to the famous Mildred B. Cooper Chapel designed by a Wright protege, E. Fay Jones, in the wilderness of Arkansas. Other highlights include a golf cart tour through the town of Bentonville to see its numerous outdoor art pieces and to learn a bit of Arkansas history, along with a tour at The Momentary art and performance space. Our stay is punctuated with locally sourced meals at the area’s top restaurants and a stay at the 21C Museum Hotel in the heart of Bentonville.
