PUGLIA, ITALY

In our seven-day adventure in May, 2025, we celebrated the art, history, and culture of the Puglia region of southern Italy. Our group of travelers visited Bari, Fasano, and the elegant city of Lecce (the “Florence of the South”), as well as beautiful towns including Cisternino and Martina Franca, and villages nestled along the sparkling Mediterranean coastline. We met with local artists and enjoyed special access to the unique Sassi in Matera, ancient cave dwellings that are a UNESCO heritage site, and the famous Trullis (stone huts with conical roofs) in the exquisite village of Alberobello. We savored the celebrated cuisine of the region and even rolled up our sleeves for a cooking class, while staying in exclusive accommodations.
