CRYSTAL BRIDGES, ARKANSAS

Founded by arts patron Alice Walton and the Walton Family Foundation, Crystal Bridges houses one of the most lauded collections of American Art in the nation. The building was designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie, and while its permanent collection spans five centuries of American masterworks, our trip also included the outstanding contemporary holdings in its satellite space, the Momentary.

Over the course of three inspiring days, we also discovered a unique sunrise experience, The Way of Color, a “Skyspace” by world-renowned artist James Turrell, along with a private tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson house, and a private piano concert in the glorious Mildred Cooper Memorial Chapel. Our home for this trip was the sensational 21c Museum Hotel, which houses its own collection of contemporary art.
