Join us for Adventures in Art’s iconic trip to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas. The museum, founded by arts patron Alice Walton and the Walton Family Foundation, houses one of the most lauded collections of American Art in the nation. Designed by Moshe Safdie, the museum was recently expanded by Safdie to include 114,000 square feet of new galleries, studios, and spaces filled with extraordinary art and fresh storytelling. Highlights include a new exhibition on Keith Haring’s rarely seen 3-dimensional works and a New Contemporary American Art Gallery featuring Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room.
In addition, over the course of three inspiring days, we’ll discover the unique sunrise experience, The Way of Color, a “Skyspace” by world-renowned artist James Turrell; enjoy a private tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson house; and experience a private piano concert in the glorious Mildred Cooper Memorial Chapel. Our stay will be punctuated with locally sourced meals at the area’s top restaurants and accommodations at the art-filled 21C Museum Hotel in the heart of Bentonville.
