Unique Design x Savannah, featuring a selection of 18 artists,
architects and designers, and their representative galleries from 12
different countries that all create “collectible design” – unique and
precious furniture and creative objects.
Private, hosted lunch in the Trustees’ Garden, a venue originally
chartered by King Charles in 1732 as the first experimental garden
in the New World and now transformed into an incredible event
space in the center of Savannah’s historic district.
Dinner at The Olde Pink House, an acclaimed restaurant housed
in an 18th century mansion, and experience the finest low country
cuisine.
Take in a historical tour of Savannah, complete with a carriage
ride through the open squares, and view the distinctive landmarks,
SCAD Museum and historic homes.
KAREN STONE TALWAR
As founder and CEO of Adventures in Art, Karen Stone Talwar has
successfully combined her two passions: travel and art. Her eye and
natural instinct for art and culture play a strong role in shaping
the company. Karen has extensive knowledge of the modern and
contemporary art scene through her years of experience and
education at some of the most prestigious institutions and galleries.
Over the course of her career spanning more than 25 years, she
has had many different roles in art consultancy, luxury brand
development, and high-end travel planning. Karen was the first
international managing director of Christie’s Travel and successfully
executed tours in association with Abercrombie and Kent such as the
Jewels of London, Art Basel, Indian Art Fair and JAR NY. As gallery
director of Bodhi Art in New York, Karen set the stage for the gallery
to be a strong player in the New York art scene and across the globe.
Previously Karen also worked closely with Sotheby’s and Asia Society.
Karen is frequently interviewed by the consumer and trade media
as an expert in the luxury travel market. Karen is an active member
of many cultural institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston
and the American Ballet Theatre.
