Fall 2021

There’s no better time to visit the Hudson River Valley than in the Fall, when the foliage is at its peak and the vistas along the river remind us of what inspired Frederic Church and Thomas Cole in the nineteenth century to capture the light and colors on canvas. The town of Hudson has seen revitalization from an industrial town that saw decline over the past decades and recently has become known as “Little Brooklyn”, in reference to art studios, galleries and shop owners transforming empty storefronts with art and vibrancy. Highlights include visits to DIA Beacon, Storm King Art Center, Innisfree Gardens and Art Omi as well as a meal at the Culinary Institute.

“It was a pleasure working with Karen, she is a hard worker and produced an exceptional itinerary. The trip was a great success; Karen’s diligence insured that all ran smoothly. She was attentive to the participants needs and able to foster a great atmosphere among these people who did not know each other before. Thanks to Karen’s commitment and dynamism the trip ran very smoothly. This was confirmed by the excellent evaluations received from the participants. Without her vision and her sense of initiative, Christie’s Education would not have been able to run such a successful event”
